Al-Qurraa’ Schools Proceeds on Vacation; Staff Academic Review and Resumption Dates Announced
Al-Qurraa’ Schools formally commenced its end-of-term vacation on Wednesday, 11th December, following the successful completion of academic and co-curricular activities, including the Termly Qur’an Recitation Competition held earlier that day.
Students vacated the school on the same day, marking the official close of academic activities for learners for the term.
Teachers’ Schedule and Academic Review
As a mark of respect for Jumu‘ah, teachers observed a short break on Friday following students’ vacation. Thereafter, academic activities resumed on Monday, with the commencement of the End-of-Term Academic Review, which ran through Thursday.
The Academic Review is a critical internal exercise aimed at:

assessing each student’s academic performance,
-
identifying strengths and learning gaps,
-
correcting observed challenges,
-
reviewing teaching strategies, and
-
discussing improvement plans for the coming term.
To ensure thoroughness and alignment across all sections, teachers from the Basic School also participated in the review sessions at the College. The school management provided free transportation (bus service) to facilitate their daily movement and ensure full participation throughout the review period.
At the conclusion of the academic review on Thursday, teachers proceeded on their own end-of-term break.
Resumption Dates

General resumption for all other students: 5th January, 2026
These arrangements are designed to allow adequate preparation for terminal students while ensuring a smooth and well-planned start for the new term.
